WHY WE CHOSE THE FRENCH FINGERLING
French Fingerlings have been one of the most popular fingerlings for as long as any of our growers can remember. They are rumored to have been smuggled into the United States from France in bags of horse feed. Regardless of how they got here, they sure have made a name for themselves, which is why we chose to add this unique variety to our list of premium organic fingerlings.

DESCRIPTION AND USES
Silky-smooth rose colored skin and creamy yellow, pink-marbled flesh distinguish this potato visually. French fingerlings have a slightly nutty flavor. Our favorite way to prepare them is roasting them with butter, salt, and pepper. Puncture the skin to allow flavor absorption but leave skins on to capture their rich taste. They are versatile however, and can be prepared anyway you like.

SELECTION, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
Our French Fingerlings are hand-selected for superb quality. We select for finger-shaped, firm, defect-free potatoes. We use specialpackaging equipped with Ultra-Shield Technology to prevent the potatoes from greening and mesh backing allows maximum air flow letting the potatoes breathe. We recommend storing potatoes in a cool, dark, well-ventilated area. To preserve the nutrients and allow maximum taste complexity in these wonderfully healthy treats, leave the skins on and scrub gently in water using only your fingers, before using.
